Botmania
Botmania is semester project developed by 6 Entertainment Technology students for the Wonderlab located at Give Kids the World Village in Florida. Our goal was to create an engaging STEAM based game for families visiting the resort using the Robotic Mascots already established in the space. With accessibility and durability in mind, we chose to develop 3 different hand tracking games, each related to a different core concept and robot personality. Also, since the space is centered around physical experiences, we engineered a Moving 3D printed Rocket Model that interacts with different game mechanics on the screen.
Over the course of 14 weeks we researched, ideated, presented, developed, prototyped, and completed the final install the village and is currently available for visiting families!

Final Project Video
Final Development and Gameplay Video
My contributions general contributions were helping with ideation of potential interactions, gameplay, and playtesting. I designed the team's poster and half sheet for the project. During production, I created many of the UI button elements as well as the individual game title graphics. I also storyboarded and animated all the Robots throughout the game and created the other 3D assets like the rocket models. Lastly I headed the prototyping of the physical rocket component to over seeing and modeling the final 3D print, then collaborating with Courtney Singleton to implement the Arduino elements.
