Activity Recognition Research:

​

Directed a small team to create a vast dataset of human motions and activities to use in machine learning.  The data set consisted of real footage from multiple ground views and drone capture,  motion capture sessions, and 3D animated characters and environment.  I was the lead director in real footage video collection with human subjects, capturing and cleaning the Motion Capture Sessions, and applying Motion Capture to 30+ models of different body types.  I recreated 3 environments digitally that were used in the real footage for comparison to the 3D animations.  I created and monitored the entire pipeline for the creation of this data set from conceptualization to completion.  Entire project involved field work, coordination with outside participants, use of Motion Capture Lab and equipment, and independent animation and problem solving.

Helped run and clean motion capture data at the CMU graphics motion capture lab. Projects included Table Tennis, Foot Juggling, Ballroom Dancing, and Wheelchair User Data.

Satellite Vehicles Project:

​

Worked with plugins, vehicle models, satellite images and created python code to quickly create and populate roads with realistic vehicle distribution, movement, and vehicle types.  First video is final view of vehicle motion, second video is displayed without background for clearer vehicle movement.
